Havoc Fight Night 1 transformed the MKM Stadium Events Hall into a black-tie boxing gala for Hull’s student community. This was also the first Hull Student Fight Night.Twenty first-time fighters completed a six-week programme with Hull University Amateur Boxing Club before stepping under the lights on 15 March 2025. Every seat sold, the atmosphere was electric, and the evening closed with a decisive R3 TKO in the main event. More than a sporting spectacle, the night validated Havoc’s model: safe, student-centric combat sport that delivers measurable ROI for partners and unforgettable moments for fans.

On 15 March 2025, Havoc Promotions transformed the events hall at Hull’s MKM Stadium into a black-tie-optional boxing arena for our inaugural Havoc Fight Night – Hull. Professional lighting, a regulation ring, live commentary and an energetic sell-out crowd of more than 300 students created an atmosphere many called the highlight of the academic year.
From the first poster drop to the final bell, the night was entirely student-driven. Athletes and committees from the Men’s Hockey and Ladies’ Hockey Clubs, the Men’s Football Club, the Hull Amateur Boxing Club, Netball League, Netball Squad, Cricket and more! Pooled their marketing muscle to promote the show, proving how powerful cross-society collaboration can be when everyone rallies behind a single cause
Twenty novice boxers—each representing their sport—completed a six-week structured training camp run by qualified coaches from the university boxing club. Every competitor passed medical checks, boxed in 16-ounce gloves with headgear under amateur rules and fought under the watchful eyes of professional referees, a ringside doctor and a dedicated paramedic crew, ensuring the spectacle remained as safe as it was unforgettable.
